CASA AURELIA

This project is a retrofit of a 30+ year-old private residence, where a detailed pre-construction assessment identified seepage, cracks, and material deterioration. Structural repairs and a dry run were completed prior to renovation to ensure long-term performance. Casa Aurelia is conceived as a contemporary residential environment defined by clear spatial zoning, functional efficiency, and natural responsiveness. The plan separates public, semi-private, and private spaces, with a welcoming veranda leading into a well-proportioned living area that forms the social core of the home. Strategic placement of the kitchen, utility, bedrooms, and support spaces enhances daily usability, while precise fenestration ensures ample daylight, ventilation, and thermal comfort. Overall, the project reflects a disciplined, client-focused retrofit approach that balances practicality with architectural clarity.
